ABOUT US

NorCal Ducks

The NorCal Ducks organization was created in 2013 by Courtney Bobinger. She had a dream to bring the athletic opportunities that exist for kids in big cities to Northern California. Throughout her years of coaching, she observed that Northern Californian athletes were often overlooked and lacked a platform to show they were as competitive and talented as those in other parts of the state and the country. She started NorCal Ducks with the mission to help high school students showcase their basketball abilities and middle school/younger kids to learn and develop their fundamentals. A decade later, NorCal Ducks has become a well-known program not only in Butte County but all over the West Coast. Courtney strives to bring in amazing families that want to see their athletes grow and be pushed to their highest potential. The Ducks are grateful to have the opportunity to help these young men and women build their skills and showcase their talents. Many Ducks have graduated from our program and went on to play at highly ranked colleges. The NorCal Ducks continue to grow and have kids from all over California in their program. Courtney strives to help these kids make something of themselves, not only on the court but in all aspects of life. Ducks have been fortunate enough to not only have talented kids but also making sure they continue to be true "Student-Athletes."  We emphasize the importance of education and the understanding that basketball is a privilege. To be a part of the program, athletes must maintain a 3.0  grade point average, be a positive influence in the community, and respect others at all times.
